lab Testing FOR MOLD/MICROBIAL GROWTH
Sampling Available for Laboratory Analysis
If you would like a sample taken from a specific location that is suspected to contain mold, we also offer swab/tape testing at an additional charge. We would collect the sample at your request, send it to an accredited lab for analysis, and provide you with a completed lab report outlining whether mold is currently present, what kind(s), and growth information.
One swab or tape sample is included with a MOLD INSPECTION OR is $110 to add on to a Standard Home Inspection if collected during the same trip as the inspection service. The cost is $75 for each additional sample requested. *If a sample is requested to be taken without a home inspection or a mold inspection, or at a later time, there will be an additional trip charge; please contact us for pricing details if needed.

Mold Inspections entail checking a home or building for moisture conditions conducive to mold growth and pointing out any visible surface spots of "microbial growth"/potential mold.
*In order to be referred to as "mold," anything discovered must be tested and found to be mold by an accredited lab. Therefore, any suspect substance not tested will simply be referred to as "microbial growth" in your inspection report.
*This is not an air quality test for mold in the air.
*Mold inspections are non-invasive; therefore, we do not check behind walls or anything that would require invasive dismantling or is not readily accessible.
